What is SEO?

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a web search engine's unpaid results — often referred to as "natural," "organic," or "earned" results.

Google updated the matrix /algorithm on search engine to give apt results.

Google was using niche (content) specific as their optimization technique,If the web masters using the keywords multiple times in website then the search engine give that website in top results. At this time web masters started malpractice the techniques multiple times (hidden, color, pixel etc.) and the quality of the websites reduced.

Google identified these malpractices and changed the niche specific to Link specific. Here the websites having more links will be in the top search. So all the web master started to sell the links .

So Google introduced Quality link (page ranking) specific, here the one who gets the link from a good ranking website will get the higher priority.  In this stage still the web masters with higher page ranking started selling links. After all Google fed up with these malpractices and planned to stop this and changed the algorithm.

Passing the juice helped to reduce the malpractice, in this algorithm if any web masters who have higher page rankings sell links to other low ranking websites then the higher page ranking will get reduced.

Social Media Signals influenced a new way of search engine ranking using the social medias like Facebook, Twitter, Linked in etc.
